Over time, within our company, we have met several clients who initially turned to us for website creation services and eventually content submission, i.e. article writing . Because we try to help our clients as much as possible, we always propose other services that we consider useful even though they were not ordered from the beginning. However, some people disagreed here, not understanding the importance of a good SEO campaign or, lately, optimization for mobile devices which has become essential since April 21, 2015.

To avoid questions like this in the future, i.e. what is SEO for, we have made a list of reasons why a website must be properly optimized.

Search engines. Customers come from organic traffic, mostly.

Without SEO optimization, whether on-page, off-page or both, no website can "survive." Without SEO, it will not appear in Google or other search engines, visitors will not find it, and potential customers will be late to appear.

The higher the site ranks in searches, the greater the chances of it bringing in revenue. Position 1 on page 2 is almost useless. There are very few people who search for results on the other pages. That is why it is very important for the website to be found on the first page, as close to the first positions as possible.

No visitors = No customers

No website brings customers before visitors. First users access the site by discovering it after a Google , then they are convinced or not to buy something. So, from here it is clear that a website without visits is a website without customers.

Regardless of the field of activity, the site must be found on the first page in SERPS

Even if you want to sell something to visitors through your website or just introduce them to something, it's important that they have a way to discover your website. In addition to SEO, which is the most recommended and efficient method, Adwords or Facebook Ads , but budgets run out pretty quickly for most businesses that are just starting out, and an SEO campaign is the action that helps them in the long run.

Long-term investment

Normally, SEO optimization starts when the website is launched and never ends. In the case of free niches, however, an SEO campaign can be considered an investment that will pay off in the long term without any other expenses. If everything went well in the initial campaign and the website has settled in the first position and no competitor is behind, the website will remain there for a good period of time, without the need for any other investments.
