Lately I've received quite a few questions regarding the value of a link and its types (links, not values), so I decided that after writing the article in which I tell you how to "calculate" the value of a link, I would also write one with types of links .
1. Natural
Natural links are the most valuable form of a link. As we all know, Google prohibits the sale of links and greatly dislikes link farms. And since we are talking about selling them, I will give you a little advice: if you sell inks, do not publish the address of the available sites on forums or other places where the ad is found. With a simple report to Google, your sites can be penalized.
So, natural links = links that were placed there naturally, without you asking/paying the site owner to put you there. The idea is that these links are inserted in as natural a way as possible without giving Google any indication that you were paid to do it.
2. Backlinks
Backlinks are, in translation, "back links". We also call this the link portfolio of a site. This is made up of links from other websites that lead to your site. So, more directly, the number of links brought to the site is directly proportional to the backlinks . They are practically the same thing.
3. Link juice
" Juicy links " can be created in short, by inserting links to very large and quality sites, such as Google or Wikipedia . Create an article and make room somewhere, as naturally as possible, for a phrase like "I found this information on Wikipedia (or Google)" and on "Wikipedia" or "Google" put a link to wikipedia.org or google.ro respectively. This will help you to some extent. Don't expect fabulous results though, because, after all, it's just a free link.
4. External link
The fourth type of link is represented by external links . In "popular" language, if you write an advertorial and inside it you insert an anchor with a specific link to another site, the link you inserted is considered an external link. If you are the owner of a site, be very careful about their number. A wide range will "help" you transform your site into a link farm and, from an SEO , destroy it, if I may be more aggressive in my language.
5. Internal link
The definition of internal links can be easily deduced from a comparison with external links, but in order not to omit this description, I can say that they represent links that lead to other pages of the same site.
In the list above, we have included the 5 major categories of links, not the places where they can be inserted. Depending on the type of each one, they can be placed in: articles, guest posts, sidebar widgets, footers, links on social networks (Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Google Plus, etc.), web directories (I do not recommend), blog comments, forum signatures.
My advice is that before purchasing a link on a site, carefully read the article about the value of a link. (And on "about the value of a link" put a link to the first article, the one about the value of links.)
